The “Hope In A Backpack” program provides weekend food backpacks for families in need at local schools that include AVW, Lac Du Flambeau, MHLT, North Lakeland, and Lakeland Union Highschool. The program is supported by the Lakeland Pantry, Ascension Lutheran Church, Calvary Lutheran Church, and the Lakeland Area General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
